Chocolate French Macarons

I recently shared my secrets for the perfect French macaron along with a recipe for mint-flavored macarons. Since many of you accepted the challenge of preparing the French macaron at home, I am now offering you my recipe for chocolate macarons with intense cacao flavor. These chocolate macarons are one of my personal favorites and I believe they would also satisfy your cravings for chocolate.


Ingredients:

For the shell:

  • 1 egg white

  • 30 g almond flour

  • 10 g cacao powder

  • 65 g icing sugar

  • 15 g sugar

For the ganache:

  • 100 g dark chocolate

  • 100 ml of coconut milk

Preparation is detailed in my blog post about Tips and Tricks for the Perfect French Macaron. The sole modification is the addition of cacao powder to the dried ingredients. I hope you enjoy these beautiful sweet treats! Happy baking!
