Recently I shared a recipe for a vegan brownie that resembles closely the classical dessert. It is easy to prepare, but it does require some baking. However, sometimes one needs a quick snack that demands very little time to make. Here come the raw desserts. This post presents a no-bake brownie that will completely satisfy your sweet tooth. Not to mention that it contains only natural sweeteners and wholesome ingredients that are good for your health.
For a healthy (and tasty!) lifestyle, this brownie recipe is for you! There are days when want to bake less and enjoy more. This no-bake brownie is fast to make and you would need only several minutes and a few ingredients to prepare it.
10 Medjool dates
45 g tahini
2 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp cacao butter
50 g walnuts + some extra for garnishing
50 g dark chocolate
Add the dates, the tahini, the cacao powder, and the melted cacao butter to a food processor and blend them together until you reach a smooth consistency.* Transfer the mixture to a bowl.
Chop the walnuts finely (you can leave some big chunks for crunchiness) and combine them with the date mixture. Transfer the brownie to a container lined with parchment paper.
Melt the dark chocolate over a double boiler and pour it on top of the brownie.
Finish it off with halved walnuts for decoration. Once the chocolate sets, the brownie is ready to be enjoyed! Bon appetit!
* You can also use a fork to mash the dates and then add in the rest of the ingredients.
